Children studying with their teacher in a classroom

UK Registered Charity 1163650

Every child deserves a roof, a meal and a place in a classroom.

SIASA Foundation relieves poverty and financial hardship amongst children and families in need — in Pakistan, Gaza and Palestine, and wherever the need is greatest — through shelter, education and direct family support.

About the Foundation

A family charity with one clear purpose.

SIASA Foundation was established in September 2015 by the SIASA family, and is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. The name is the family itself — Saeed, Iqbal, Ajaz, Sadiq and Abid: a father and his four sons, whose businesses have funded the charity from the outset.

Our objects are to relieve poverty and financial hardship amongst children and families in need — primarily, but not exclusively, street children in Lahore and rural communities in Pakistan, by providing shelters and access to education. The Foundation also recognises and assists with financial support to young children across other parts of the world affected by conflict and hardship, including Gaza, Palestine, the wider Middle East, and the United Kingdom.

Following a period of consolidation, the Foundation is being revived across 2025 and 2026 with renewed funding, a focused programme of work on the ground in Lahore, and the same principle that has guided it from the start: money raised belongs to the children it was raised for — wherever they are.

Our work

Three programmes, delivered where the need is greatest.

Shelter

Shelter

Safe, supervised accommodation for children living on the streets of Lahore and in displacement-affected communities in Gaza and Palestine — a bed, clean water, regular meals and adults who are accountable for their wellbeing.

Education

Education

School places, uniforms, books and tuition so that children who have never sat in a classroom — from Lahore to Gaza — can enrol, catch up and stay in education long-term.

Family relief

Family relief

Direct financial support, food and winter provisions for families in rural Pakistan and in communities affected by conflict and hardship across the Middle East and the UK.

Where we work

Our work begins where the need is greatest. Today that spans street children in Lahore and rural Pakistan, families displaced by conflict in Gaza and Palestine, and vulnerable children closer to home in the United Kingdom.

Our story

Funded by the family that built it.

The Foundation is supported by the SIASA Group — the family enterprise built by Mohammed Saeed and his four sons from 2005 — and by the ongoing work of SRA Capital Ltd.

  1. 2005

    A family business begins

The SIASA family launches SIASA Telecom, opening its first retail outlet in Luton in 2008 and growing into wholesale distribution and a franchise network spanning the UK, Poland, Dubai, Pakistan, China and Hong Kong.

  2. 2013

    Diversification through MBU Capital

A Mayfair-based investment group investing across real estate, education, natural resources and financial services — culminating in the acquisition of the Bens Creek metallurgical coal mine and its 2021 flotation on AIM.

  3. 2015

    SIASA Foundation established

The family registers the Foundation as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation dedicated to children in need in Lahore, rural Pakistan, and wherever hardship calls.

  4. 2019

    SRA Capital

SRA Capital Ltd, a financial services and real estate investment firm, becomes the family's principal vehicle and the Foundation's main source of support.

  5. 2026

    Revival and expansion

Renewed funding widens the Foundation's reach — shelter, schooling and family relief delivered at greater scale in Pakistan, and emergency relief extended to children and families in Gaza, Palestine and other communities in need.
